ABOUT
Nature has always brought me a deep sense of peace and a form of escapism. From this, I grew a sense of purpose; I believe in not bounding myself to one 'purpose' in life but instead finding different avenues of purpose in something that is important to me. For instance, my education (BSc & MSc), career, parts of my lifestyle, and some interests naturally comprise and embrace nature/environmental protection.
And now here we have 'About Home' to add to this, with 'Home' denoting to somewhere or something personal to each of us; by defining what 'Home' means to you - whether that be your collective communities, the person/people you love, the country/ies you originate from, where you reside and thrive, or absolutely anything else. I hope I can make aspects of environmental protection resonate with you and your Home.
The aim of this platform is to highlight connections between climate change & topics that are not conventionally known or discussed such as, intersectionality (gender/race), religion, culture, travelling/moving, the economy, relationships, food and much more, and thus the importance of climate mitigation. I will also be sharing useful resources, some of my photographs, and things I'm currently loving/interested in/doing etc.
